Unlike large commercial contractors, I focus exclusively on residential projects in Union, MO and nearby areas, prioritizing the quality of your living space and protecting your investment with precision and care.
What types of residential projects do you specialize in?
I specialize in general contracting, custom home builds, whole-home remodeling, kitchen and bath updates, room additions, and interior trim and finishing. My focus is on projects that require technical skill and attention to detail, such as framing, cabinetry installation, and custom carpentry. While I currently offer deck construction, I am shifting toward high-value indoor remodeling to ensure consistent quality year-round. Fencing and door-only replacements are excluded to maintain brand standards.
What is your process for new clients and project estimates?
The process begins with a free estimate, typically initiated by emailing blueprints or project photos for remote review. Once I understand your goals, I’ll schedule an in-person consultation, often on Saturdays to fit busy homeowner schedules. I source materials from local lumber yards and use trusted Franklin County subcontractors when needed. Throughout every step, you’ll communicate directly with me, ensuring your project stays on track and aligns with your vision and budget.
Which areas do you serve for remodeling and new construction?
CJ Premier Carpentry serves Union, Washington, and St. Albans in Franklin County; Innsbrook and Wright City in Warren County; Wildwood, Eureka, and Chesterfield in St. Louis County; Wentzville and O'Fallon in St. Charles County; and Steelville and Bourbon in Crawford County. My work is tailored for homeowners seeking quality craftsmanship and personal oversight within these communities.
Why don’t you handle fences or single door replacements?
Fencing and individual door replacements are excluded because they often reveal hidden issues such as wood rot or structural surprises that consume excessive labor without delivering the level of quality or value my brand promises. By focusing on larger, high-quality projects like remodels, additions, and custom builds, I can guarantee the precision, durability, and clean workmanship that are the hallmarks of CJ Premier Carpentry.
